harro.

im really at it with kicking my habit of starting blog posts with "hey" now lol. i guess its a good thing.

btw i just watched the live streaming of...

YOUTUBE SYPHONY ORCHESTRA 2011!!!!!

it was awesome, even with all the lag from my shitty internet connection lol.

the orchestra consists of musicians selected from the pool of youtube users over the internet all over the world. participants are voted by the youtube community as well as chosen by the maestro leading the orchestra. the orchestra's first debut performance was two years ago at new york in carnegie hall.

the idea of this orchestra is to spread the love for classical music through the technology of the internet and to bring people from all over the world together through their passion for making music for people to hear.

and i think this vision for the orchestra is godamn epic. and the performance the participants gave everyone who were watching was godamn awesome.

after being captivated by the orchestra in 2009, i looked forward to their performance this year in 2011, where they would play in the sydney opera house. and they didnt disappoint even for a single bit. in fact, they were more epic than before in my opinion.
